How does selling a domain in installments work?
You can choose to offer installments to your buyers right from your account settings. The buyer then need to pay for the first installment right away, while the next ones are due every subsequent month. Your pay out will be done every month directly after receiving the payment from the buyer. The domain is held by Undeveloped in Escrow until the full amount is paid. If the buyer cancels the transaction for any reason, you keep the money and get your domain back!
Are there other currency options?
At this moment the available currency options are Euro (€), U.S. Dollar ($) and Pound Sterling (£). You can change your currency preferences inside your account settings by clicking on your name in the top right corner.
I sold a domain, when can I expect to receive my payment?
First of all, congratulations with your sale. Normally the whole process takes about 24 hours. This of course depends on the buyer, as we have to wait until we receive their payment. After receiving his payment we'll initiate the transfer. If the domain is successfully transferred we'll start sending you the payment.
What payout options do you have?
For payouts we use normal bank transfers and Paypal.
Where can I change my personal details?
Go to the upper right corner and click on "your name" and then on "settings". On this page you can change your account details. To change your profile details click on "seller profile". To change your bank details go to "billing details". Don't forget to save the changes you made by clicking on the "save" button at the bottom of the page.
Where can I change my password?
Go to the upper right corner and click on “your name” and then on “settings”. On this page you can change your password. Don’t forget to save after filling in the current and new password!
Do I have to change the nameservers to Undeveloped?
It is not required to change the nameservers to Undeveloped. Redirecting the nameservers, however, increases the chance of selling your domains because everyone who visits your domain name organically, sees that the domain name is for sale. And the interested party can make inquiries into the domain name instantly.
Where can I set prices for my domains?
Log in to your account and click on "Portfolio" in the menu bar. You should now be able to see all the domains in your portfolio. To fill in the ´buy now´ or ´starting offer´ prices, please click the dotted line in the column "Buy now" next to the domain you want to edit. To fill in the starting offer, repeat the step above but fill in your numbers in the column "starting offer". Please be sure not to add any currency remarks inside this field, only numbers. You can change your currency preferences inside your profile settings by clicking on your name in the top right corner.
How can I add domains to my portfolio?
Login to your account and click on “portfolio”. Here you can find all of the domains you’ve listed on Undeveloped. On the right side of the middle of the screen you’ll find a button which says “want to add more domains?”.
How can I delete a domain?
Login to your account, in the menu bar click on “portfolio”. Here you see the list of domains you’ve added to Undeveloped. Click on the domain you want to delete, and on following page you can click the “delete” button on the right side, under domain information.
What does the default starting offer mean?
The default starting offer sets the starting offers of every domain in your portfolio to this price. The default starting offer will however be overruled as soon as you fill in the prices of your domains. You can find your default starting offer inside your account settings.
What is the asking price of my domain name?
The price of a domain depends on a lot of different factors. This means that it is hard to come up with a precise price for every domain out there. We summarized all the biggest influences in the pricing of domains in our blog.

If you're still not sure about the price of your domain then leave it blank and only fill in the starting offer so a potential buyer can start bidding on the domain.
Can I personalize my For Sale page?
You can personalize your For Sale pages by uploading a background image and avatar. Both can be changed inside your account settings.
The rest of the content is not changeable. We explicitly have made this choice as we optimize these pages on a weekly basis. This means that we continually track the conversion rates of those pages, and implement new features that attract potential buyers, leading to more buying actions.
Can I personalize my Public Profile?
Yes, you can personalize your Public Profile. Go to your account settings and click on the left side on "seller profile". On this page you can write a short Bio about yourself or your company. You can also set a background image and upload your picture of Avatar.
Please keep in mind that all changes you make will also influance your domains For Sale pages.
How do I set up my For Sale pages?
Settings up your For Sale pages is easy and can be done at your registrar. Just click the link below and follow the steps.

What does the red exclamation mark mean on top of my screen?
This means that we are still missing personal details from you or more specifically, that you haven’t filled in your billing details correctly. Please go to your account settings and fill in the necessary information. A potential buyer can’t reply or answer any of your messages or send counter offers as long as the red exclamation mark is visible in your profile.
How does the selling process work?
Undeveloped takes care of the whole transaction process by providing a safe and secure Escrow service. As soon as you come to an agreement with a buyer, we send the buyer an invoice. We kindly ask you to provide us with the transfer code or push the domain to our escrow account as soon as we’ve received the funds. The next step is sending the authorization code to the buyer or pushing the domain from our escrow account into the account of the buyer. Finally, if the domain is successfully transferred we will transfer the payment to the account of the seller.
How much commission do you charge?
We charge a 15% commission on every sale conducted through our marketplace.
Does Undeveloped take care of payment reminders?
Yes, we take care of payment reminders. Our payment reminders work like this: 24 hours after an agreement is reached we send the buyer a friendly payment reminder. Then every 7 days, for the following four weeks, we send the buyer a reminder. Besides those reminders, our team will try to get the buyer on the phone to check if it’s a legit buyer.
Can I change the language of the website?
Yes, you can. On the bottom right of the screen you see a small drop down menu. Select English or Dutch there.
Do you provide escrow?
Yes. Every domain you sell through Undeveloped follows our escrow guidelines which makes it 100% safe and secure.
Why is my dashboard empty?
Your dashboard is empty because you haven’t got enough information to show, yet. Your dashboard will automatically get filled in as soon as you have views or leads on your domains. If you want to see the list of your domains, please click “portfolio” in the top menu bar.
